Biography Gabriel Muñoz

Master in Statistics, Master in Mathematics and Statistics PhD Student from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His investigation in statistics is centered in identifiability problems on IRT models. In Mathematics, he developed his research in Group Representations and rational irreductible idempotents over Q[G].

Part time professor in Facultad de Matemáticas in UC. There, he is the coordinator of the Diagnosis unit in the same Faculty which is in charge of the construction, application, analysis and correction of the diagnostic tests of Mathematics applied to all the new students in the university. He has co-authoring and editing several Mathematics school books. Now, he is developing proposals to curriculum innovation, using Knowledge Spaces theory, which includes assessment instruments which consider classroom diversity and different learning styles. He also has worked in projects related to the impact of University insertion programs (private and public universities).
